URA Darts Club plans to crank up the level of darts in the Kenya Open in Nairobi this month.

The tournament set for November 12-13 will be a major build-up as the Kampala giants prepare for an onslaught in the national league play-off.

Team captain, Milton Omuruga said the Nairobi meet is a crucial venture for their aspirations.

“No matter what it takes, all we need is to capture the league title. And we will do it,” Omuruga said.

URA who retained the Inter-club knockout title in Masaka last weekend, are on course for a double that has quite proved elusive to Nakawa outfit.
The Kenya event will be a major build-up for the national league play-off on November 27-28 in Jinja.

URA is vying to dislodge defending champions Chills & Meals who have held on to the league title now for three years running.
