THE feud between singer Saava Karim Nsubuga and the Amarula Family comedians has ended.

During the launch of his musical album, Kwata W’oyagala at Sabrina’s Pub last Saturday, Karim said feuds among artistes were a threat to the development of the music industry, which was why the two parties had to find ways of resolving their conflicts.

Karim, who previously accused the comedians of pirating his song, Mabette, said he had had friendly discussions with Amarula Family members and resolved to put the matter to rest and concentrate on building the music industry.

“Unhealthy competition is a disaster to all of us. We have decided to stop bickering and work in harmony for the development of the industry,” Karim told a fully packed auditorium.

Earlier, Dark and Lovely Director, Helen Kakyo, who was the chief guest, advocated for a spirit of solidarity among artistes. Kakyo said it was wrong for artistes to be arrogant or hate each other in the name of fame because stardom is built on morality and professionalism.

Zonto Muvawala of Amarula Family donated $52 to Karim as a gesture of reconciliation. The President of Fire Base Crew, Bobie Wine donated sh630,000 and pledged to help Karim build his career.
