MultiChoice’s clients will have their analogue systems upgraded following the launch of a $75,000 (about sh137m) Christmas promotion, the company’s marketing manager has said.

Peter Mungoma said, “We are targeting upgrading systems for 800 clients. The promotion also includes cutting prices of the DStv kit from sh880,000 to sh795,000 including a one-month subscription and standard installation.”

During a press conference on Tuesday at Buganda Road in Kampala, Mungoma said the analogue customers could also upgrade to DStv at an offer of $199 (sh365,165) excluding subscription.

“All they have to do is bring back their analogue decoders and accessories in good working condition to qualify for the offer that will end on January 31 2006,” he said.
