KITGUM town was set ablaze last Saturday as local dancehall artiste Mad Tiger worked up revellers with his songs Serengeta and Ebeere at Blue Moon Club.

This was Mad Tiger’s first performance in northern Uganda.

Revellers paid sh4,000 for the concert, which started shortly after 10:00pm. Despite the insurgence in northern Uganda, fans turned up in big numbers for the show.

A number of little-known artistes performed before Tiger came on stage.

Although he came on stage at midnight, his loyal fans were anxiously waiting for him. When Tiger performed his 2002 dance floor hit Obulamu Bw’ensi, the audience went wild. By 2:00am, Tiger had exhausted his songs and it was time to part.
