TOM Tikolo, the Africa Cricket Association (ACA) tournaments coordinator has set January 5-15 for the U-15 boys and open women championships in Nairobi. The events that had earlier been scheduled for December 4-11 had to be called off at the last minute after the hosts (Kenya Cricket Association) opted out of hosting them.

X-mas Cup
JUNIOR Arsenal is scheduled to take on New Madrid in an opening match of the Lira Christmas Cup donated by Bishop Tom Ibrahim Okello of Elim Church. The annual U-15 event has attracted ten teams from the district. The matches will be played at Uganda Technical College, Lira, starting December 13.

PEOPLE of Gulu Sunday had a rare opportunity to watch an American side Charlotte Eagles FC beat home side Uganda’s People's Defence Forces 4th Division team in a friendly. Charlotte Eagles, a religious outreach ministry, displayed high calibre playing skills to earn the victory.
