CECAFA on Tuesday lauded Cranes’ discipline in the just concluded Senior Challenge Cup in Kigali, Rwanda.

CECAFA secretary Nicholas Musonye told the press in Nairobi that Uganda had excelled in a tournament marred by several incidents of indiscipline.

“It was an all-round team which made organisers happy and no complaints were received from referees,” Musonye said.

At the same time, Musonye said next year’s Challenge Cup will have cash prize for the top four finishers increased to $100,000 from the current $70,000. Ethiopia was the tournament.

Uganda hosts the next tournament.
