THE Government is to spend about $50m (sh90b) on construction of Arua-Oraba road, transport state minister Andruale Awuzu has said.
Awuzu told reporters at Parliament that construction of the 60km road, which would connect to the Sudan border, would start in two years.
He said the construction would be after the World Bank and International Monetary Fund approve the project and lend the money to the Government.
“We have not come out with the exact figure but it might cost about $50m basing on similar roads that the Government has constructed,” he said on Monday.
