TWO Forum for democratic Change (FDC) officials Beti Kamya and Jack Sabiti were yesterday interrogated at the CID headquarters over allegations of inciting violence.

TWO Forum for democratic Change (FDC) officials Beti Kamya and Jack Sabiti were yesterday interrogated at the CID headquarters over allegations of inciting violence.

parliament also learnt that the Police was investigating Winnie Byanyima, wife of presidential candidate, Dr. Kizza Besigye for slapping a policewoman on Monday.

Kamya and Sabiti appeared at the CID headquarters at 10:00am and left after being quizzed by the officer in charge of electoral offences squad. They, however, did not record a statement.

The two were accompanied by their lawyers Yusuf Nsibambi and Dan Wandera Ogalo.

Sabitti is scheduled to return to the CID headquarters tomorrow while Byanyima will return on Friday.

Kamya said she was summoned over allegations of inciting violence during the arrest of Besigye in November.

She said the Police alleges that she featured on a radio talkshow on CBS FM where she called on the public to turn up at police and the court to see what was happening.

Minister Ruhakana Rugunda said the military had set up a committee to investigate Lt. Col. Dick Bugingo for slapping FDC official Rubaramira Ruranga.
