KCC had an ill-fated 2003 season that saw them failing to dethrone the league champions- National Insurance Corporation (NIC) as they settled for the runner-up slot at the end of the league.

AS a New Year’s resolution Kampala Amateur Volleyball Club (KAVC) will run pay phones around the city to raise funds to meet their day-to-day financial demands of the 2004 national league. The project, set to start in a month’s time, is a brain child of Cissy Musiime.
