THE apex of Nusu Hill in Manjiya county, Mbale district, has developed a deep crack on its neck.
Manjiya MP David Wakikona recently warned that the landslide-prone sharp-pointed tip might break off anytime and roll downhill, crushing Bush-ibuya Catholic Primary School.
The National Envir-onment Management Authority has expressed worry over the crack.
This is the second rock to be reported as posing a threat to residents in the district as the new year begins.
Another rock was recently reported in Biduwa village, Wanale sub-county.
