M-Lisada, that amazing brass band of former street children based at Kampala Music School, stole the show at a Grand Christmas Music Festival at the International Conference Centre on Sunday, January 4. A number of choirs participated in the festival organised to raise money for Radio Maria, a Catholic Church Evangelistic radio station. Elly Wamala, the guest performer, coloured the festival with his performance that featured songs like Ani yali amanyi, and Eky’ekkumi.
M-Lisada kids threw the music fans into a frenzied mood with their lively performance. After playing such songs as Silent Night, Joy to the World, The Lord is my Shepherd, the kids put up an acrobatic show which awed the congregation.
