MBARARA — The new resident district commissioner, Clement Kandole, walks to work after his official vehicle broke down. “I have nothing to do my friends. My vehicle broke down and I have to work. The only alternative is to walk,” Kandole said recently.

RUKUNGIRI — Health minister and Rujumbura MP Brig. Jim Muhwezi recently donated 400 iron sheets to Rujumbura schools his political assistant Emmy Ngabirano told a congregation at Ruruku catholic church on Sunday. Ngabirano urged the parents to send pupils to school to utilise the Universal Primary Education programme.
