BUSIA resident district commissioner Patrick Bageya has rapped leaders who use their positions to intimidate others

BUSIA resident district commissioner Patrick Bageya has rapped leaders who use their positions to intimidate others.

Abubaker Mukose writes that Bageya said those with such mentality would be disappointed if they tried to intimidate him.

“I have always had a self conviction that nobody in this world is more important than me. All I know is that we are the same. That person who thinks is more important than me must be mistaken,” Bageya said.

Bageya was speaking at a farewell party for Mpigi RDC Ahmed Kawoya in Kamuli town recently.

He said those who opposed him lacked ground support, adding that, “They can’t even dare to stand against me,” he said.

Keneth Muhweju, the DISO, attended.
