THE Inspector General of Government and the Auditor General are investigating a state-hired expatriate who absconded from duty after being named in a financial impropriety case.
Cecil Rajana, who hails from Guyana in South America, was until early last year, the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets (PPDA) executive director.
Rajana left the country early last year under unclear circumstances. He was on a three-year contract.
