KAMPALA — A purchasing officer with Hwan Sung, a fish exporting company, was recently charged and remanded in Luzira Prison for allegedly embezzling over 23m. Michael Ochaya, 32 of Namuwongo appeared before Nakawa Court Chief Magistrate Margaret Mafabi and denied the charge.

Bricklayer held on arms
MASINDI — A brick layer has been arrested for illegal possession of military items in Kisunga I village, Kiryandongo sub-county. The Police said the man identified as Ayub, was on Monday found with a pair of UPDF uniforms, one magazine for an assault rifle and a toy gun.
