TWO seeds Ronald Senyanja and Mustapha Lwanga were shown the exit as the NOMI tennis Open reached the quarter-finals yesterday.

Seed eight Senyanja fell to unseeded John Oyet in three sets 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 at the Lugogo courts.
The youngsters dictated terms from the baseline before Oyet took control with perfect deliveries in the third set.

Seed six Lwanga pulled out for unexplained reasons to hand unranked James Bayego a second round place.

The other seeds including the top ranked Charles Yokwe maintained their winning ways.

The competition that ends on Sunday is sponsored by Mukwano Group of Companies.
