Leading exporter Fahim Hides and Skins wants the Government to lift export taxes on hides and skins to improve the industry’s competitiveness, reports Ronald Kalyango. Hides and skins exports are subject to a 15% tax. “It is only the hides and skins industry which pays the export tax. This has affected the sector,†managing director Sultan Aman said on Wednesday.Ends
