The Pakistani honorary consul to Uganda, Boney Katatumba, has hailed the cordial relationship between Pakistani and Uganda.
“The bilateral ties between the two countries are great and important. Pakistani has helped Uganda greatly in the field of security, health and capacity building,” he said.

Katatumba said this at his residence in Muyenga where he hosted diplomats to a cocktail marking the Pakistani National Day.
He said a number of Pakistani investors had come to Uganda to take part in pharmaceutical, sports equipment sectors, mineral development in Karamoja and tea growing and processing in Masaka.

“This is part of the things we have done since Pakistan opened a consulate here under my responsibility. My task has been to find ways of improving business opportunities between Pakistanis and Ugandans,” he said.
He appealed to all districts in Uganda to plant crops that grow best in their districts for links to counterparts in the Pakistan.
