Kigezi High School old students have donated 11 computers to the school.
The computers were handed over at a ceremony organised by the old students on Sunday.
The chairman of the organising committee, David Bahati, said the old students would continue to mobilise funds for the school.
“As old students, we believe that poor students must be supported so that they can achieve their dreams,” he said.
He acknowledged the role of information communication technology in education.
“I urge the students to put these computers to use so as to perform better,” he said.
Bahati urged the school authorities to address the issue of indiscipline, which caused strikes at the school.
The Bishop of Kigezi Diocese, George Katwesigye, hailed the old students for supporting the school.
“The initiative to provide computers and to support the needy students is a very good gesture,” he said.
