Oyombe, the elder brother to professional Denis Oliech said his stay in Rwanda will depend on the terms with the army side.

BOXING: Trials on
UGANDA Amateur Boxing Federation continue their trials to select a team for the 2004 Africa zone V competitions at Lugogo indoor stadium today. The Boxing Coaches Commission spokesman Juan Duku, who is organising the trials in conjunction with UABF, said that a total of 48 boxers would under go the second series of trials.

MARATHON: Nine confirm
NINE countries including Uganda have landed invitation to participate in this year's Mombasa International Marathon slated for May 2, Athletics Kenya Coast branch secretary, Lilian Waweu, disclosed yesterday. Other countries to battle it out include Tanzania, South Africa, Rwanda, Sudan, Eritrea and Ethiopia.
