THE Inspectorate General of Government (IGG) has insisted that Apac District Service Commission (DSC) reinstates the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Martin Obia.
The second letter signed by Deputy IGG David Psomgen dated April 1, asked the DSC to revoke the termination before subjecting Obia to disciplinary action.
Psomgen said the termination was unlawful as the principles of natural justice were not applied.
He said Obia was not allowed to defend himself, contrary to the Public Service Standing Orders.
A letter signed by IGG Jotham Tumwesigye (above) on February 3, had recommended that the decision to dismiss Obia be rescinded.Ends
