SC Villa are on the edge. Despite a comprehensive win yesterday, they are now depending on a side that has conceded 20 goals in three games to save them.

Hapless Gerdermarie were beaten for dead by SC Villa last night, but the Djibouti side can ironically keep the Ugandans in the Kagame Cup with a miraculous draw or win against Simba tomorrow. Gerdermarie lost to Muzinga 7-0 and Kiyovu 6-1 before.

Edgar Watson hit four and Bernard Mwalala a hat trick, but even that is unlikely to stop defending champions Villa from packing their bags, after a false start to the regional club competition.
A dull goalless draw yesterday between the top two Group A teams, Kiyovu and Simba, assured the Rwandan side of a semifinal place and put the Tanzanians well placed to join them.

SC Villa coach Micho Sredojevic cried foul. “It was real syndicate. They were not playing football. We sensed a mistake from the start when they grouped us together with last year’s finalists,” Micho charged
Tonight, Express, reeling from a 4-1 defeat at the hands of favourites APR, will be taking on Ulinzi in a do or die clash.
