THE National Football League Committee (NFLC) will seize one match’s gate collections from SC Villa, Kampala City Council and Moyo Town Council football clubs to recover a sh1m fine imposed on each of them for hooliganism. But Villa will lose another sh2m for causing financial loss to NFLC, FUFA, Namboole stadium and Iganga Town Council .

The Uganda Rugby Union (URU) has suspended the Semi-finals and the finals of the Bell Lager Super 6 and Shield competitions till July 2004. This is to enable ample training time for the Uganda 7's team which will have two tournaments for trials scheduled for May 8 and 15.

PREPARATIONS for the AMU enduro championships in Nairobi May 15-16 that includes designing the route are in top gear, EAMSC chairman, Maina Mutiri confirmed yesterday. The event, a very popular one, brings together riders from Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Morocco, Tanzania and hosts Kenya.

Kyambogo University has introduced three sports courses to equip sports administrators with modern administration methods. A post graduate diploma in sports administration, bachelor of science in sports and leisure management and diploma in physical and sports education start in 2004/2005 .
