UGANDA has stepped up its preparation for the East Africa Regional Youth championship by naming a squad of 63 athletes

UGANDA has stepped up its preparation for the East Africa Regional Youth championship by naming a squad of 63 athletes to start training.
Those called include the five athletes that won a team bronze in the World cross country championship.
Boniface Kiprop, Ivan Muhwezi, Daniel Kurong, Nicholas Kwemoi and Moses Aliwa have been summoned by the Uganda Amateur Athletic Federation (UAAF)for the event due May 29 at Namboole.
UAAF organising secretary Faustin Kiwa said the team will camp at Lugogo hostel.
“ We are not looking for money here but foodstuff like meat and fruits. We appeal to all those who can offer us a hand to help,†said Kiwa.
