A construction company has sued Nsambya Hospital over a $8,054 (sh18m) debt.
JBK Services, owned by Busiro South MP Patrick Musisi, filed the case with the Commercial Court, saying the hospital contracted it to construct the nurses’ hostels, drainage and the sewerage system at sh716m in 2000.
JBK told court recently that in a case heard by Justice James Ogoola in September 2001, the parties had agreed to settle the matter out-of-court.
The company said it was still demanding about sh18m.
However, the hospital said it had settled the debt fully.
, adding that JBK was seeking double payment.
