Kobil strong in Red Cross fundraiser

KOBIL has fielded four teams in the Uganda Red Cross Society Charity Golf tournament that tees off at 7.00am today at the Kitante course.

KOBIL has fielded four teams in the Uganda Red Cross Society Charity Golf tournament that tees off at 7.00am today at the Kitante course.
Kobil GTX, Kobil K-Gas, Kobil Mari and Kobil Super Plus are among 50 teams that will play in the event to raise money for expectant mothers in Internally Displaced People (IDP) camps in Northern Uganda.
Kobil has also offered 400 litres of fuel to deliver the items to the camps.
Companies, embassies and international organisations have responded to Red Cross’ appeal by registering teams at a minimum of sh0.2m each.
The tournament is part of Red Cross’ fundraising drive to raise sh75m to buy ‘mama kits’ for 3000 pregnant women in the camps. The Swedish Ambassador to Uganda will tee off the event.
