BUSIA — Resident district commissioner (RDC) Patrick Bageya has ordered Buhehe sub-county chief Susan Nekesa to quit the sub-county. Attending a burial ceremony recently, Bageya also ordered the Police to annex Buhehe to his area of administration.

KAPCHORWA — Sebei kingdom has urged the Government and NGOs to support the testing efficacy of an HIV/AIDS curative treatment. This was said in a statement issued by the kingdom’s ministry of health. The statement urged NGOs to support the Kingdom in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

KAPCHORWA — The Police are holding James Boyo, a local administration policeman, over the death of a student. District Police commander Tomson Ogole recently said Boyo allegedly shot Scovia Chebet, a student of Kapkoch S.S, on May 31 while he was fighting with his wife for a gun.
