Friday: Iganga v KCC

THE Top Radio Super League will resume on Friday, but with only one match on card before it takes another break to allow Uganda Cranes prepare for Ghana in their 2006 World Cup/ Africa Nations Cup campaign.

League committee secretary Aisha Nalule yesterday confirmed that Iganga will host Mike Mutebi’s (right) KCC on Friday, before national players go back to camp to concentrate on the match due Saturday, June 3.

“They need concentration in camp and that is why we have fixed only one match,” she said.
She explained that all the remaining matches will be played after the Ghana match.

“The problem is that all the remaining matches involve KCC, who are having more than three players with the national team.”
Express and Villa are among the clubs that KCC is yet to play in the first round.
