RUKUNGIRI district administrative officer Frank Ntaho has interdicted a teacher from Kihungye Primary School for failing to perform his duties because of drunkenness.
Geoffrey Tumwesigye of Nyarushanje was interdicted recently for failing to mark end of first term examinations.

Hospital gets

NYAKIBALE Hospital in Rukungiri is to get two new doctors from America next month.
The hospital administrator and chairperson board of governors, Jane Kagumya, recently said the board had requested for more doctors to reinforce the hospital staff.

POLICE officers in Ntungamo district will no longer share unipots but are soon to reside in modern houses.
Inspector general of Police Edward Katumba Wamala on Monday commissioned the construction of a sh300m barracks at the Ntungamo station.
