Suspect dies

A 39-year-old man died after spending eight hours in custody of Kamuli Central Police cells.
Suspects, who shared the cells with George Lukwidi, said the victim fell on the ground and vomited blood before dying.
The district Police commander, Fred Sekiwere, said Lukwidi had been arrested and detained on charges of causing grievous harm.

Church gives

Christians from the Congregational Church of the Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA have donated four sewing machines to internally displaced persons living in Pakwach.
The machines were handed over by the church pastor, the Reverend David Hodgson, to the district mayor, Topacho Ongeirtho, at the town council offices.
