RUKUNGIRI — A Uganda Local Authorities Association training officer, Jerome Mbura-Muhido, has said most problems faced by local governments are due to ignorance of the laws governing decentralisation. He was speaking at an induction workshop for members of the district Public Accounts Committee recently.

KYENJOJO — The RDC, Abdul Nsereko, has lamented the inadequate budgetary allocation to the security department for the 2004/2005 financial year. He said in an interview recently that the allocation showed lack of concern for security.
