A man has sued Stirling Civil Engineering (U) Ltd for allegedly damaging his house. Ali Kiyimba of Bukomero asked court to order the firm constructing the Busunju-Hoima road to rebuild his house and pay him sh50m in damages for building an access road to a stone quarry, through his land.

MWANGA II court magistrate Charles Yeteise has committed two students to the High Court over defilement. Patrick Nyanzi, 19, of Kasubi and Tony Buyondo, 19, of St Kizito Technical Institute in Masaka allegedly committed the offence in February and March.

City Hall court magistrate Moses Kagoda yesterday remanded a man in Luzira Prison over defilement. Henry Othieno, an 18-year-old bricklayer of Kisaasi, Kisota zone in Nakawa division, allegedly defiled a 13-year-old girl on June 15.
