UGANDA Revenue Authority (URA) netball team started their national league campaign with an unexpected win over archrivals Police Saturday at the Nakivubo stadium.
URA finished one goal ahead of Police on an intercepted pass by Robinah Tebukwata who got the ball across to Sarah Sessanga for the final shot conversion.
Meanwhile, the National Post Primary Schools netball championships slated for July 1-4 in Mbale town take centre stage as the national league goes into recess.
The competition will be used as a qualifier for the three schools that will represent Uganda in the East Africa schools championships to be held in Mombasa, Kenya, in September.
