MUKONO — District chairman Ddamulira Kyeyune has advised vanilla farmers to form security groups to crack down on the rampant vanilla thefts. Speaking at a vanilla meeting on Thursday, Ddamulira said guards hired from outside the district were also a threat.

KAYUNGA — District director of health services Dr. Godfrey Kiyingi has advised parents to have their children treated as soon as they find out that they have been defiled, to avoid tetanus. He was recently addressing the press at his office at the district headquarters.
