MENGO, the division two chess league leaders, will seek to cement their efforts when action resumes this weekend.

The side faces lowly Bombo who need to work extra hard to get a decent result.

Mengo, pursuing promotion to division one, have been riding high with Peter Kiberu and Richard Semujju their top guns.

Mengo has also gained from the experience of veteran player Emmanuel Kabuye.

He is expected to make another positive impact against Bombo.
Bombo will again look to their top performers Aaron Kanaabi and Moses Muzira.

George Senyomo’s Mulago B meets Geoffrey Kalajja’s Kamuli, who are also involved in a serious campaign for promotion.
Kireka B led by Edgar Lemerigar takes on the less skilled Nkumba while Luzira battles Stanbic.
