Exercise could be one of the remedies to reduce the risks of Endometrial cancer, a study presented by researchers from the Vanderbilt University at the annual meeting of the American association of cancer research has revealed. Regular exercise as well as routine activities such as walking or household chores can reduce a woman’s risk of developing endometrial cancer by as much as 30-40 per cent. Cancer risk reduction can be achieved by maintaining an active lifestyle. Endometrial cancer risk is higher in women with more fat as measured by body mass index. However the increased risk is partially reduced for heavier women with higher levels of physical activity.
