CONTRARY to reports emerging from Villa Park, coach Micho Sredojevic’s immediate future at Nsambya is far from decided.

Nevertheless, the Serb tactician concedes that his continued stay at Villa Park remains shrouded in a cloak of uncertainty after a meeting with club president, Franco Mugabe, at Sheraton Hotel on Monday , failed to deliver a concrete compromise.

“I’m still Villa coach. I love the club and I’m a registered fan but we’ve to wait and see,” remarked Micho yesterday.

A day earlier, he had said: “I’m out of Villa and will be leaving soon.” He has a three-year $3000-a-month (sh.6m) contract.

Accusing fingers have pointed in the general direction of Micho’s immediate superior, Tamale Kapeera, who strenuously declined to comment.

However, Micho can certainly not blame his team manager, Tushar Ruparelia, of under-appreciation.

He said: “As a custom, Villa expects to always occupy the top perch. Micho ensured this custom continued during his first year here. This increased expectations and Micho is a victim of this pressure. Micho is the man for the job.”
