Remember to attend the examination briefing because this is where counselling is given to encourage in-depth awareness of your obligation. This prevents moral gaps in the time of the exams.
You are made aware of the inputs needed for exams: Identity Card, Examination Card and school uniform. This helps in guarding against any impersonation.
You should always be reminded about the obvious. You assume that you know, but then you end up making mistakes or careless mistakes.
Tips for better preparation
l Subjects of essay type require a lot of preparation. Avoid spotting. You should endeavour to cover all topics.
l Do your revision by answering questions off head. This will help you understand and cover the topics well.
l In Commerce and Geography, the section with objectives necessitates a lot of thinking and reasoning. At times the objectives may seem obvious but apply reasoning to get the most appropriate answer. All topics are equally important:
l Topics in Geography and Literature, have been ably handled in The New Vision Education pull out.
l In Commerce have interest also in topics on business calculation, insurance & parastatal organisations; and
l In CRE all topics and themes related to the present situation, African Traditional society, Church History and the Bible.
Be neat and tidy in all subjects. Impress examiners with well-written papers. Read the instructions before you start.
