THE economic and trade commissioner at the French Embassy, Jean Moreau, has advised Southern Range Nyanza Limited to ensure efficiency to compete favourably in the European Union market, reports Esther Mukyala.
During a tour of the factory in Njeru, Mukono recently, Moreau said he was impressed by the firm’s products and warned its managers against breakdowns saying they affect competence.
He advised the firm to link up with the Uganda Export Promotion Board and the Uganda Investment Authority to promote their products.
The chairman Picfare Group of Companies, Kishor Jobanputra, said the plant would increase production by making T-shirts and beach wear from January next year.
