THE 2004 Super League champions SC Villa and Kampala Zone Division I winners Victors FC will on Wednesday afternoon lock horns in a Champion of Champions’ trophy at Nakivubo stadium. Victors, by virtue of their win in Kampala, have joined the super league. Kampala zone is donating the trophy for the match where fans will part with sh2000 each.

MANCHESTER United fans in Luweero town celebrated their team's 2-0 win over Arsenal in style. They paraded through the streets naked chanting a drumming. Fans crowded halls to watch the Sunday evening Premiership match between the two rival teams relayed on SuperSport.

In a replay of last year’s final in The New Vision inter-departmental soccer tournament, the fortunes were this time reversed on Editorial as rivals Bukedde won the preliminary stage encounter 3-2. The entertaining fixture was played on Saturday on a soggy pitch at City HS. This was Editorial second loss after going 0-1 down to Production.
Liberia called
Liberia will replace Kenya in the the $70,000 Four-Nations Challenge set for November 27-December 2 at Namboole that will also attract Iraq, Rwanda and hosts Uganda, who are all being dressed by L-Sporto. According to L-Sporto’s CEO Chris Anderson, George Weah is expected to lead the Liberians.
