FEDERATION of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is to spend up to sh10m on Saturday’s extra-ordinary general assembly at the International Conference Centre.
“The projected expenditure is between sh6m and sh10m but I can not give the details now,†FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda said yesterday.
Asked whether FUFA would facilitate the delegates with transport and accommodation, Mawanda was non-committal only saying: “We are only interested in the delegates being in the conference room at 9am.â€
Mawanda defended the expenditure though it was beyond the budget time.
“I am going to write to NCS informing them about the assembly. They do not need the 15-day notice like delegates,†Mawanda explained.
