FEDERATION of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) is to spend up to sh10m on Saturday’s extra-ordinary general assembly at the International Conference Centre.

“The projected expenditure is between sh6m and sh10m but I can not give the details now,” FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda said yesterday.

Asked whether FUFA would facilitate the delegates with transport and accommodation, Mawanda was non-committal only saying: “We are only interested in the delegates being in the conference room at 9am.”

Mawanda defended the expenditure though it was beyond the budget time.
“I am going to write to NCS informing them about the assembly. They do not need the 15-day notice like delegates,” Mawanda explained.
