Shoving and sweating have been synonymous with patrons at the ‘89 Musicians Club at the National theatre, a trend which followed Nile Breweries sponsorship package to the Musicians club almost two years ago.

This will soon be a thing of the past as Nile Breweries, Alliance Francaise and Moringa Ogilvy have launched a fundraising drive, which will have the Musicians Club redesigned and expanded to embrace an ultra-modern look, and accommodate bigger crowds for the Monday Jam sessions. Last week witnessed a milestone in the life of the club constructed in 1959, when sponsors Nile breweries handed over cash awards for three of the best architectural projects for the place.
