CHANCES of Uganda having representatives in the CAF Club championships have again been hindered by the call on the broke FUFA to pay $9,000 (sh16m) to CAF by November 30. The date doubles as the deadline for registration of the clubs.

According to FUFA secretary Haruna Mawanda, the latest communication from CAF has put Uganda’s representation in jeopardy.

The earlier communication was reminding them to send the names of the representatives to the club competition committee by November 30 but this one cancels it.
“We have to call an emergency meeting to decide how to go through it. We currently have no money. They have even said that without paying this money, we can not register a club,” said Mawanda.
