PRESIDENT Yoweri Museveni’s step-brother, Geoffrey Ayine, has been questioned over the murder of Arthur Akoragye, an intelligence officer based at the President’s Rwakitura home.
Presidential Guard Brigade (PGB) spokesman Lt. Edison Kwesiga yesterday said some suspects had been arrested over the murder, but refuted reports that Ayine had been arrested.
Kwesiga yesterday said the Police were investigating the matter.
A State House source said some of the people questioned by PGB mentioned Ayine, alias Sodo.
Akoragye was taking his wife to Mbarara Hospital to deliver, when he was pulled out of a taxi and shot dead last week.
A source said Akoragye had blocked Sodo from selling his father Amos Kaguta’s cattle.
