Judith Kyomuhendo of Mitimu Zone, Ndejje, Wakiso district, appeared before Makindye Court Grade One Magistrate Isah Serunkuma on Friday. She not allowed to enter plea due to lack of jurisdiction. She was remanded to Luzira prison.

Man jailed
KAMPALA — A Kenyan student at Makerere University has been fined sh300,000 for purporting to be a Ugandan to obtain passport. Geoffrey Kisero, 30, of Namirembe Church village was sentenced by Nakawa Court Chief Magistrate Margaret Mafabi after he pleaded guilty to the charges.

Two charged
KAMPALA — Two security guards have been charged with the theft of 300 bags of sugar worth sh18m. Michael Magezi of Kireka and Robert Baiza of Bweyogerere recently denied the charges before Nakawa Grade One magistrate Agnes Nkonge.
