NATIONAL goal keeper Hannington Kalyesubula’s move from Villa to Police was among the many effected at the final player transfer exercise yesterday.
No objection was raised against the former Villa custodian’s move to his new club.
Villa on the other hand answered back by acquiring former Police FC’s custodian David Mayombwe as replacement.
KCC’s midfield was boosted by the arrival of Hamisi Katagenda from URA and Masaka’s Idd Ssebalaata.
Heroes’ Kambale Ngoro was blocked from moving to Masaka Municipal Council after the relegated side from eastern Uganda was losing more than the stipulated number of players.
“Kambale can however move if the two clubs agree,” explained NFLC secretary John Matovu.
Any appeals on the exercise must be lodged within 48 hours to FUFA.
But Matovu advised clubs that have defaulted in earlier transfer fees to first pay up before the current ones can be effected.
Transfers effected yesterday at FUFA House in Mengo are
