Ugandans should put more faith in abstinence and being faithful to their partners than in condom use, Kabarole resident district commissioner has said.

Ugandans should put more faith in abstinence and being faithful to their partners than in condom use, Kabarole resident district commissioner has said.
Frederick Nyakabwa reports that Charles Ndiwa Chemasuet said condoms had various complications, and were therefore not the best option in the fight against hiv/AIDS.
Chemasuet was speaking at celebrations to mark the World AIDS day at Rweiteera Primary School in Ruteete sub-county, Buryaha county in Kabarole.
“Promoting condom use is risky,” the RDC said on Thursday.
Chemasuet advised women to work hard to empower themselves economically to avoid men who entice them with financial and material favours in exchange for sex.
