ROSETTE Musoke and Edith Wamalwa powered Kampala Club to victory in the Inter-Club Tennis Tournament at Lugogo on Saturday.
The champions edged hosts Lugogo to finish top with 12 points in the one-day team event.
Lugogo, that was spearheaded by James Kasumba and J.B Turahi finished, second with 11 points.
America Recreation Association and British High Commission were joint third at six points.
Meanwhile, eight Ugandan junior players are in Mombasa for the Coast Open Junior Championship in Kenyan.
The team, handled by coaches Patrick Luyinda and Robert Kamya, departed on Saturday for the week-long event.
They include Janet Namutebi, Tabitha Nankya, Richard Semanda, Joseph Mugisha, Lawrence Sempijja and Simon Sesaazi.
Coach John Oduke, on his part, embarks on his new International Tennis Federation assignment when Lugogo hosts the schools holiday clinic starting today.
