UGANDA Juniors League (UJL) has been thrown into panic after the US embassy held back passports of their four officials. Charles Sendagire, Martin Mugenyi and Geoffrey Ssessanga were due to accompany the U-14 team to the Cocoa Expo football competition in Florida on December 27.The embassy issued 23 visas to the team but kept the four passports.

RONALD Jawe scored all the four goals as DFCU U-7 football team rolled on in the inaugural Uganda Juniors League. The seven-year old scored 23 goals netted twice in each half as the Bankers dumped K-Gas 4 -1.

Kiwanuka out
CRUISERWEIGHT Joseph Kiwanuka was knocked out in the eighth round by Michael Simms at the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California as his career took a nosedive. Working behind a sharp jab, Simms (15-2-1, 12 KOs) comprehensively outboxed the shorter Kiwanuka (27-9-2, 20 KOs), winning virtually every round.
