UGANDA Telecom and Kulika Charitable Trust Uganda have established a sh750m fund to enable 56 needy Ugandans pursue undergraduate studies in Ugandan institutions for the next five years.

“The fund will offer full scholarships to 56 Ugandan students who are disadvantaged to undertake studies in engineering, agriculture, human and veterinary medicine, food science and technology, science in education, architecture, community psychology, informational technology and development studies,” UTL managing director Aimable Mpore told journalists as he sealed the deal with Kulika director Peter Musoke at the Sheraton Hotel on Monday.
